Masterbatches for extrusions, injection moulding, blow moulding and film coating

Processing of masterbatches used for extrusions, injection moulding, blow moulding and film coating for production processes

A masterbatch is a special type of pellet that contains a high concentration of additives such as colorants. Masterbatches, consisting in concentrated mixtures of pigments, colorants and additives dispersed by extrusion, are often used in production processes for extrusions, injection moulding, blow moulding or film coating. Mixed with pellets of pure polymer, the masterbatch processing employed for extrusions, injection moulding, blow moulding and film coating in production processes, makes it easier to colour the materials used in production. Chimar Srl has been working for more than 30 years to engineer, process and market predispersed powders and masterbatches in microgranules to colour PVC and other plastic materials. Chimar is a real partner to companies that produce for the building, gardening, toy, packaging and household items' sector and that employ extrusions, injection moulding, blow moulding and film coating in their production processes.
