CHIMAR SRL
1984 - Chimar was founded on the initiative of its owner Mr Aldo Rizzuti using his experience gained since 1970. The new company initially produced and marketed powder and microgranule predispersants for colouring PVC.
1988 - The first factory was completed, then extended in 1991, and integrated with a second machine room in 1997.
1992 - Chimar developed new production systems to meet the needs of the technopolymer and polyolefine sectors, with excellent results.
1998 - The business expanded into other sectors, for example, blow moulded containers, injection moulded household items, injection moulded garden furniture and ornaments, as well as ecological (tanks) and agricultural items (crates). |
1999 - The first extrusion masterbatch production line was set up to meet the growing needs of the market. More were added shortly afterwards.
2008 - Its increased market penetration made Chimar a market leader in Italy and this led to new investment aimed at increasing productivity. Work was transferred to a new 7800 m2 plant that tripled the surface area available.
2009 - The economic crisis offered an opportunity to explore new frontiers: Chimar has developed a marketing strategy by evaluating the know-how accumulated in the plastic material colouring sector, and then made plans to develop foreign markets.
